Behind the name: Ceres is the ancient Roman goddess of agriculture, grain crops, fertility and motherly relationships. Ceres also shares her name with a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

A note on pearl: June's birthstone, said to symbolise a pure heart and mind, innocence and faith. With links to the moon and water they help to balance emotions.
